This service award plaque features a 36" gold plated firefighter axe in a handle color of your choice. The handle can be engraved with text and the axe head traditionally features the department's patch or logo. Engraving on the black brass plate is included and the plaque can be further customized with a wide selection of engraving services, castings, resins, service discs, patches, badges, or nearly anything else you would like to see.
The firefighter axe can be mounted directly to the board with screws or it can be hung on hooks allowing the axe to be removed from the plaque. The axe and the plaque are shipped in separate boxes to prevent damage so light assembly is required for direct mounting. The axe head itself has a soft edge for display purposes and is not intended to be a working axe.
These firefighter axe plaques are traditionally gifted to congratulate and commemorate firefighters on their retirement and are fully customizable.
